Vitamin injections

What are vitamin injections?

Vitamin injections are a form of supplementation that involves injecting a concentrated dose of vitamins directly into the body to treat various vitamin deficiencies. They are absorbed into your bloodstream via your muscles. Vitamin injections have a higher absorption rate than oral supplementation, making them a targeted and effective treatment.

Vitamin B12 injection

Supports healthy red blood cell formation and normal nervous system function.

Recommended for: boosting energy, supporting mood, improving focus and maintaining overall wellbeing.

Feeling tired, weak or generally run down? The demands of everyday life, from long working hours and frequent travel to raising a family, can take their toll. But when fatigue feels persistent or unusual, low vitamin B12 levels may be a contributing factor. Some people may also have an MTHFR gene variation that affects how the body processes certain forms of B12. In these cases, methylcobalamin, the active form of vitamin B12 used in our injections, may offer effective support.

Vitamin D injection

Vitamin D3 known as the sunshine vitamin, both a mood and an immune boost! Oral vitamin D is often not well absorbed. A quick intramuscular injection of Vitamin D, ensures maximum absorption!

Recommended for: Improving moods, boosting immune function, and maintaining healthy bones.

You might know active vitamin D3 as “the sunshine vitamin” because your body produces it as a response to sun exposure. This essential vitamin is needed to maintain all kinds of healthy functions and systems in the body, from strong teeth and bones, to robust brain, immune, cardiopulmonary, and nervous system functionality. It also plays a role in regulating insulin levels and fighting the onset of certain cancers. In short, you simply can’t do without vitamin D3.

  • I always feel so much better when I’ve had a ten pass, I also love having a natter with Karen the nurse, of all the therapies I have for chronic Lyme this is probably the most effective and i actually really enjoy going. I would recommend this treatment and Health Bunker to everyone with chronic disease. Super clean place, always professional, and very friendly. Actually look forward to coming here and always feel so much better for it.

  • Many thanks to the Health Bunker team for the consistently professional and courteous care delivered since my first treatment back in Oct 23. The numerous sessions in conjunction with my own lifestyle changes and the use of appropriate supplements to accentuate the treatments have indeed returned a sense of normalcy to my life. Thank you all!

FAQs

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Please feel free to get in touch for further information on all treatments we offer.

  • While the majority of our customers are eligible, we reserve the right to withhold treatment if we feel it would create complications or concerns. We do not offer our services to anyone under the age of 18.  All our services are subject to a consultation with one of our Nurse prescribers.

  • Everyone is different and will therefore experience varied results. Some feel more energised and detoxified after their injection whereas others may not notice a physical difference but will have more vitamins in their system which are bioavailable for the body to absorb.

  • Yes, but you shouldn’t need to take the same vitamins as you have had with us. For example if you have a Vitamin B12 injection  you shouldn’t need to take a daily B12 as well. If you have a Vitamin D injection, we would recommend you stop taking any additional Vitamin D supplements.

  • When you first start your treatment, it’s common to have an injection once a week. Your dose may change depending on your response to the treatment. Some injections are advised to be taken at regular intervals e.g every four weeks to ensure optimal health benefits. The recommended frequency of treatment will be discussed at your initial consultation.

  • Vitamin injections are safe, and adverse effects are very rare. However, some people may experience some pain, swelling or redness at the injection site, and in much rarer cases, headaches, itching or nausea. Very high doses of vitamins may sometimes cause acne.

  • Vitamin supplements can effectively treat a deficiency, but they may not be as well absorbed as an injection. In any case,  your healthcare professional can advise you on the most appropriate form of vitamin for your specific situation.
